We’ve known since June that Agent Daisy Johnson would be bringing the Secret Warriors from the pages of Marvel Comics to ABC’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ this season. Until now we still don’t know who will make up the team or how they’ll be different from the source material, but we do have a clip of the first time that we hear the former Skye’s team being referred to by that name.
Comic Book Movie has shared a clip from this week’s episode titled ‘Purpose In The Machine’. While the bulk of the episode will see Director Coulson and company reconnecting with an old friend in the form of Peter Macnicol’s Professor Elliot Randolph, who previously appeared in the ‘Thor: The Dark World’ tie-in from season one titled ‘The Well’, Blair Underwood’s Dr. Andrew Garner will be making a comeback as well. Amidst the team’s search for Agent Simmons, Dr. Garner meets with Agent Johnson about the new team that she’s assembling. And in their exchange, the good doctor goes ahead and names the team for her. You can check out how the scene plays out below, followed by the official synopsis of the episode:
Fitz and the team enlist the aid of an Asgardian to unlock the secrets of the ancient monolith that swallowed Simmons, and Agent May is at a crossroads in her personal and professional life.
