‘Scream’ actress Neve Campbell is in negotiations to star in director Roland Joffe’s ‘Singularity’. Campbell, who returns to the Scream franchise next year, would star opposite leading man Josh Hartnett.
The story involves a ring, past lives and intertwining souls and takes place in 1778 and 2015. Hartnett plays two characters: an archeologist who falls into a coma and a British captain in colonial India. Campbell will play his wife and fellow archeologist in 2015. Her character gets stuck in a sunken ship while trying to retrieve a ring.
Shooting is scheduled to begin in January in Australia and India.
