The digital release is now coming in just a few weeks, on August 10th.  The film’s physical release on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD will follow on September 14th.  Both digital and physical releases will feature a large amount of extra content, including a blooper reel, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and nine deleted scenes for fans to enjoy. Check out Disney’s official press release below, along with the trailer for the film.  “Black Widow” stars Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Rachel Weisz as Melina, David Harbour as Alexei/Red Guardian, Ray Winstone as Dreykov, O-T Fagbenle as Mason, and William Hurt as Secretary Ross. Marvel Studios’ “Black Widow” arrives early on all major digital platforms on Aug. […]

Turn Your Eye-Holes On This Glorious ‘Deadpool’ Bloopers Reel! https://sciencefiction.com/2017/05/29/turn-your-eye-holes-on-this-glorious-deadpool-bloopers-reel/ https://sciencefiction.com/2017/05/29/turn-your-eye-holes-on-this-glorious-deadpool-bloopers-reel/#disqus_thread Mon, 29 May 2017 13:00:11 +0000 http://sciencefiction.com/?p=250845 While fans twiddle their chimichanga-eatin’ thumbs and wait patiently for ‘Deadpool 2‘ to hit theaters next year, let us never forget the pure joy that was the first ‘Deadpool’ film.  Wholly irreverent and deliciously off the beaten superhero path, star Ryan Reynolds, director Tim Miller, and production company Fox absolutely knocked it out of the park – so expectations are understandably high for the sequel, which will also star Josh Brolin as time-traveling X-Person Cable and Zazie Beetz as fellow X-Force member Domino. Before we get there, though – take some time to remember how truly awesome the first film was, by enjoying this deleted scene and blooper reel!  Included with the film’s home-video release, the extended featurette has now been made available for ye fine denizens of the internet.  Share and enjoy: Hold onto your chimichangas, folks. From the studio that brought you all 3 Taken films comes DEADPOOL, the block-busting, fourth-wall-breaking masterpiece about Marvel Comics’ sexiest anti-hero: me! Go deep inside (I love that) my origin story…typical stuff…rogue experiment, accelerated healing powers, horrible disfigurement, red spandex, imminent revenge. Directed by overpaid tool Tim Miller, and starring God’s perfect idiot Ryan Reynolds, Ed Skrein, Morena Baccarin, T. J. Miller […]

Check Out The ‘Suicide Squad’ Gag Reel! https://sciencefiction.com/2016/11/28/check-suicide-squad-gag-reel/ https://sciencefiction.com/2016/11/28/check-suicide-squad-gag-reel/#disqus_thread Mon, 28 Nov 2016 18:00:14 +0000 http://sciencefiction.com/?p=234581 With ‘Suicide Squad‘ coming to Blu-ray in just a few short weeks (having already been released digitally), that means it’s time for the film’s various supplemental features to start making their way onto the internet. The latest of these features to be released online is the movie’s gag reel. Clocking in at just under two minutes, the reel presents a collection of bloopers and outtakes that captures the cast in the less composed moments of filming, as they break character or try to get others to do the same. As in the film itself, a relative handful of the ensemble cast is given a chance to shine in the blooper reel. Of course, based on the moments captured in the reel, it’s a safe bet that the featured cast members happen to be the ones generating the most or the best outtakes. A perfect example of this is Will Smith. Given his comedic background, it’s hardly surprising that Smith features as heavily as he does in the outtakes, whether he is flubbing a line, improvising a joke, or unleashing some truly impressive sneezes. Also figuring prominently into the gag reel is Harley Quinn actress Margot Robbie, and of course, Jared […]
