Come one, come all to an all-new jam packed Toy News Tuesday! We’re the one weekly column right here on ScienceFiction.com where we seek out all of the awesome news you need to know about any announcements and cool happenings in the toy industry and put them all in one easy to find place for you!

Halloween is over and for many people the holiday seasons have begun! As we head into the tail end of the year (and the decade for that matter), there are still quite a few new items being released that are definitely going to end up on quite a few holiday wishlists! This week we are taking a look at new items from Hasbro, NECA, Mondo and more! Scroll on down to the Toy News for the week of November 5th, 2019!

‘Star Wars’ Ready To Stay Woke

The ninth and final chapter in ‘Star Wars: Skywalker Saga’ is getting ready to hit theaters in just a few weeks with the release of ‘The Rise Of Skywalker’ this December! The crew at Hasbro seems to be just as excited as the rest of us and is celebrating the momentous occasion with numerous announcements of upcoming ‘Star Wars’ products for both their 6″ scale ‘Black Series’ and their 3.75″ scale ‘The Vintage Collection’ coming out of a number of conventions like Barcelona Manga 2019 and Lucca Comics and Games 2019 this past weekend.

For the 6″ scale ‘Black Series’ line, we have some of our favorite Prequel Trilogy characters finally heading to our collections! From ‘Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones’ we have Count Dooku, Kit Fisto, Plo Koon, and a Geonosian Battle Droid!

Meanwhile on the smaller scaled side of things, the 3.75″ scale ‘Star Wars: The Vintage Collection’ it’s getting a number of figures from all over the ‘Skywalker Saga’. New figures heading our way include a Remnant Storm Trooper, Wicket, Obi Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Darth Maul, a Clone Trooper, Luke Skywalker (Bespin), Han Solo (Bespin), C-3PO, and Lando Calrissian (Battle Of Endor).

While there isn’t too much to see from ‘Rise of Skywalker’, these are all definitely figures that have been on people’s wish lists for some time! These are all expected to hit stores in 2020.

Mulptiple Marvelous ‘Marvel Legends’

As most of you already know, ‘Star Wars’ isn’t the only major license Hasbro handles, so it comes as no surprise that they were also some fantastic new Marvel collectibles announce this weekend at both Barcelona Manga 2019 and Lucca Comics and Games 2019!

X-Men fans will be excited to hear that a whole wave of figures is being dedicated to the classic 90s alternative future storyline ‘Age of Apocalypse’! New figures announced this weekend include ‘Age of Apocalypse’ versions of Jean Grey, Sunfire, Dark Beast, and Wild Child! Other previously announced figures for this wave of include Wolverine, X-Man, and Morph. The build a figure for this wave has not yet been confirmed at this time, all the rumors are circulating that we may be getting a whole second wave of ‘Age of Apocalypse’ themed figures in the near future so a lot of it is up in the air for now.

While he isn’t part of the X-Men universe, Hasbro also announced a new comic styled version of Crossbones! It is probably safe to assume that this figure will be part of and Avengers themed wave, or possibly part of the ‘Black Widow’ movie wave.

‘Power Rangers: Lightning Collection’ Fourth Wave Is A Go-Go At Hasbro

In one final bit of news from Hasbro coming out of Barcelona Manga 2019 is the reveal of almost the entire fourth wave of the ‘Power Rangers: Lightning Collection’! We first told you about the newly-announced Blue Zeo Ranger last week, but this week we got confirmation and images for the S.P.D. Red Ranger and Beast Morphers Cybervillain Blaze! There are also rumors circulating about us getting either a Blue or Yellow Mighty Morphin Ranger in this wave, but these rumors are currently unconfirmed. Spooky Scary Skeletons Send Shivers Down Your Spine

Earlier this year the team at Mondo released two beautifully crafted 1:6th scale figures based on the lead hero and villain from the classic ‘Masters of the Universe’ franchise; He-Man and Skeletor! This past week to celebrate everyone’s favorite spooky holiday, Mondo announced the next figure in the line, Scareglow!

This new 1:6th scale Scareglow figure features 30 points of articulation, a removable fabric tape, a safe, and special glow-in-the-dark paint applications on all his skeletal bits! Scareglow is set to be a Mondo exclusive figure, and is up for pre-order now for $185 with a planned release of January 2020.

NECA Gets Their Creep On

Earlier this year Shudder, the horror streaming service, launched their reboot of the ‘Creepshow’ film franchise as a television series to much fanfare from both critics and audiences. The team at NECA sure seemed to enjoy this updated take on the franchise as this week they announced their all new figure of the show’s host, The Creep!

This new 7″ sale figure of The Creep will bring ‘Creepshow’s rotting host to life in your collection with 25 points of articulation. The figure will include a soft fabric cloak, a comic book, a lantern and more when it releases next May. Check out the full release info from NECA below!

The iconic horror franchise is back for new tales of terror! Shudder’s new Creepshow TV series expands on the rich legacy of horror built by the original movies, and breathes new unlife into its mascot, The Creep.

Now in action figure form, The Creep stands over 7 inches tall and is fully posable, with over 25 points of articulation. The figure features synthetic hair and a fabric robe with wire armature so you can give it just the right positioning. The Creep also comes with lantern, skull and Creepshow comic book accessories.

Prepare To Be Terminated

While it may not be doing gangbusters at the box office, this past week ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’, the latest film in the long running ‘Terminator’ science fiction franchise, hit theaters nationwide. Reception has been mixed for the film but if there is one thing most fans can agree with is that its great to see the original franchise stars, Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger, back in the saddle again. This week we have a number of new collectibles from some of our favorite companies based on the new film that you won’t want to miss!

From our friends at NECA weve got a better look at figures of both Sarah Connor and the T-800 based on their appearance in ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’. Get Ready To Get Schwifty With More ‘Rick And Morty’

As the show seems to be as popular as ever, it only makes sense that Funko would continue to roll out new collectibles based on ‘Rick And Morty’.

First up are two new articulated figures of our titular heroes Rick and Morty in Space Suits! In addition to the standard versions, there will also be a Walmart exclusive set of Metallic figure variants as well.

There will also be plenty of new POP! Vinyls, including Death Crystal Morty, Kirkland Meeseeks, Wasp Rick, Hologram Rick Clone, and Teddy Rick with a Chase variant!

There will also be several retailer exclusives, including Glow-in-the-dark Hologram Rick (Amazon), Hologram Rick Protester (Hot Topic), and Flosting Death Crystal Morty (Walmart).

These are all expected to be in stores by years end!
