In an internet poll conducted by the Syfy network, fans voted for their favorite guys and gals for the top spot of “Sexiest Actor/Actress in Science Fiction”. Hugh Jackman, who played Wolverine in the ‘X-Men’ films, beat fan-favorite David Tennant (Doctor Who) and uber-star Johnny Depp (Edward Scissorhands) for the top spot on the actor list. In the actress department, Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) staked out the top spot, trumping Star Trek: Voyager’s Jeri Ryan and two of The Doctor’s companions.
