Well, it’s short but sweet – and I don’t think fans would want it any other way. The hotly-anticipated return of ‘Twin Peaks’ after over 25 years off the air has lots of people intrigued. Series creator David Lynch has returned to pick up the story of the two-season supernatural drama, and as was to expected given Lynch’s eclectic history, information on what audiences can expect has been hard to come by.
This trailer, in fact, is the first to give us any actual footage from the new series, following on the tail of a trailer last week that provided the actual first “still shot” looks at the new show. The series will be an 18-hour affair, with the premiere coming in a few weeks but the remainder of the season being held until August.
So, who do we see in the trailer? We get glimpses of returning characters such as Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan), Deputy Andy Brennan (Harry Goaz), Deputy Tommy “Hawk” Hill (Michael Horse), Big Ed Hurley (Everett McGill), Carl Rodd (Harry Dean Stanton), and Sarah Palmer (Grace Zabriskie).
