Jeff Wadlow has been adding a bevy of heroes to ‘Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall’, including Donald Faison, Robert Emms, Lindy Booth, and potentially Jim Carrey, but what about the other side of the coin? Things are a little unbalanced, no? The Red Mist need not worry because a new villain has just joined the fray.
According to the official website of Andy Nyman (via Comic Book Movie), the British actor/magician will be joining the sequel to Matthew Vaughn’s 2010 Mark Millar comic book series adaptation. Nyman will play the part of The Tumor, a member of Red Mist/The Mother Fucker’s ‘A Clockwork Orange’-esque gang and answer to Kick-Ass’ Justice Forever known as The Toxic Mega-Cunts.
Nyman isn’t too known here in the United States, but he’s built up a body of British work including such as films like ‘Severance’, ‘Black Death’, and ‘Death at a Funeral’ and a number of television programs. He’ll be joining the cast and crew as they start shooting in Toronto and London next month.
‘Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall’ starring Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Nicolas Cage is scheduled to start filming on September 10th. Currently, no release date has been set.
