NBC is ramping up for the 6th and final Season of ‘Grimm‘ to premiere mid-season with a series of promos recently released, teasing a “grimm” ending for the cult-hit series that ended Season 5 with a huge cliffhanger. The first promo features the cast and crew looking back at the past 5 seasons of the cult favorite show and remembering everything they had been through and enjoyed about the series, and how much they are going to miss working together once it all comes to an end when the final season’s 13 episodes are over, while also discussing the final challenges their characters will face in those last 13 episodes. The second promo is a preview for Season 6 which basically sets up the plot where we last left things at the end of Season 5 after Diana forced Captain Renard to kill Bonaparte to save Nick following the massacre at the loft, which results in Nick going on the run while Renard starts a manhunt for Nick.

Season 6 Official Synopsis:
CAPT. RENARD ORDERS A SHOOT-TO-KILL MANHUNT ON NICK BURKHARDT – Following the massacre in Nick’s (David Giuntoli) loft, Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) is hellbent on eliminating him once and for all. Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Wu (Reggie Lee) head back to the precinct to keep an eye on the Captain and help give the gang the upper hand.
Meanwhile, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) grapple with staying in Portland now that their family will be expanding. Elsewhere, Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) suffers the side effects of the mysterious stick’s healing power.
