There is plenty to be excited about in this week’s toy news, with new releases from Diamond Select Toys and DC Collectibles, plus the first New York Comic Con Exclusive Funko announcements! Our friends at Diamond Select Toys have a few new products hitting stores now, and one exciting new exclusive piece that won’t be hitting until November 19th for Local Comic Shop Day! Ghostbusters Movie Select 7” Action Figures Series 3 Asst.
A Diamond Select Toys release! The hugely popular Ghostbusters Select action figure series continues with three new figures, and three more pieces of the colossal rooftop diorama! Slimer, Janine and Quittin’ Time Ray make up Series 3, and each comes with bonus accessories in addition to their diorama piece: Janine includes a phone, alarm button and take-out containers; Slimer comes with two alternate faces and a support stand that can plug into the rooftop; and Quittin’ Time Ray includes goggles, a walkie-talkie, and a variety of interchangeable gloved and ungloved hands, as well as all-new sculpting and paint details to reflect his appearance at the end of a long shift. Local Comic Shop Day Exclusive: The Lost in Space Anti-Matter B9 Vinimate
On November 19, 2016, comic book shops across North America will take part in Local Comic Shop Day®, celebrating independently-owned comic book retailers everywhere. Participating stores have access to exclusive products, and this year Diamond Select Toys is pleased to announce that they have created an item exclusively for Local Comic Shop Day® retailers: The Lost in Space Anti-Matter B9 Vinimate!
Part of the 4-inch Vinimates vinyl figure line, this variant version of B9 is sculpted in the Minimates mini-figure style, with an exclusive black-and-white paint job! This color scheme is based on the famous Lost in Space episode, “The Anti-Matter Man,” in which the robot B9 travels to an anti-matter universe and meets his cold-hearted anti-matter counterpart. The vinyl figure comes packaged in a full-color window box with a “Local Comic Shop Day®” logo sticker.

We Wish You A Harley Quinnmas
We all know Santa knows who has been naughty or nice, although we aren’t sure which list you’ll need to be on in order to hope for this special new holiday themed variant DC Bombshells Harley Quinn statue from Cryptozoic Entertainment when it releases later this year! According to PopVinyls, this piece is set to be a Previews Exclusive piece that is limited to a run of just 2016 pieces! While pricing isn’t available yet, it is likely to retail for somewhere around $29.99 like the other statues of this size in the series.
Mezco Has The Last Laugh
The team over at Mezco has been killing it lately with their incredibly popular One:12 Collective line of 6″ figures that pack all of the detail of a 1:6thscale figure into a figure half the size. This week they posted pre-order information for the latest figure in the series, DC Comic’s The Joker! This figure looks insane (literally… so mission accomplished I guess?), and comes packaged with two interchangeable heads, a display stand, and plenty of other Joker themed accessories to make this figure really pop! Hot Toys Is Feeling Strange Lately

Harley Goes Big!
Funko hasn’t revealed any new figures in their ‘Super Deluxe Vinyl’ line in a few months, so it comes as a bit of a surprise that we’re finally getting a new figure in the line by way of DC Comics’ Harley Quinn! Comic book fans everywhere can rejoice, now being able to complete their mis-matched pair of madness since we now have a red-and-black classic Harley Quinn Super Deluxe Vinyl to go with the previously released Deadpool figure! If we’re lucky maybe we will see The Joker, Batman, and Robin joining the line eventually as well, but only time will tell on those. Check out the release from Funko below-
