Fans around the world are excited about ‘Black Panther 2‘ and one popular rumor is that they’ve found a way to bring back Michael B. Jordan‘s take on N’Jadaka/Erik “Killmonger” Stevens. Marvel Studios has found a slew of creative ways to bring characters back over the years, and with the introduction of Wakanda‘s Ancestral Plane, he could even return without being alive. With how popular the theory has been it has worked its way up to Marvel’s head honcho Kevin Feige who was actually able to open up about it.

While he won’t confirm or deny of Jordan might return in the role, he does have a solid reason as to why it can’t be revealed yet:
“The honest answer to that is that is pure rumor and speculation because Mr. Coogler is just only in recent weeks sitting down at his keyboard and beginning to outline the movie. It’s early, so nothing is set yet in any way that far because Mr. Coogler is sitting down and will share it with Nate Moore and myself in coming weeks.”
Having the script just officially started means that while some ideas may have been tossed around and nothing is set in stone at this time. You can imagine that some of the major beats of the movie weren’t covered in the roadmap which the Marvel Cinematic Universe has in store for us. However, Killmonger’s return might not be part of this foundation if he is just returning as a spiritual guide or at all.
