We haven’t been hearing much lately from the sequel to ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes but that’s all going to be changing as we have some new posters and news of the trailer for ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes‘ to share with you today!
The first up is that the trailer is going to be debuting next week! Set to take place shortly after the last film we’ll be seeing the rise of Caesar’s Ape Nation and the downfall of humanity. As you can tell by these one sheets the Apes are adorned with war paint and are clearly set for taking out what is left of the human species. As we all know through mankind’s history there can only ever be one dominant species on the planet, we’re just going to see what happens when it’s not us.
Even though humanity might be shrinking the cast of the sequel has been expanding over the last year. With Jason Clarke (‘Terminator: Genesis‘,’Farscape’) and Gary Oldman (‘RoboCop‘,’The Dark Knight Rises‘) being two of the larger additions to the cast. Going by the original film (which by no means will be followed here), things will continue to look more grim for humanity though one of our last attempts at striking back before being turned into slaves to the apes is a nuclear strike against them. I wonder if we’ll see that play out in the end of one of these films?
Did you enjoy ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ and can’t wait to see how it continues on? Looking forward to checking out the downfall of humanity?
Synopsis:
