Feast on the New ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ Trailer After having to briefly pause shooting for two weeks in October 2021 due to a mild COVID outbreak on set, ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ is ready to be released upon the world, drawing what many hope will be a fitting conclusion to the ‘Jurassic World’ trilogy of films and likely, if the marketing is to be believed, putting a cap on the “Jurassic Era” of films altogether. From the descriptions to the teaser trailers to the full-blown trailer we’ve been given today, it has felt like the inevitable conclusion to this saga is upon us. After 5 films of keeping the genetically-recreated dinos (mostly) confined to an island or two, it’s clear that time may very well be up for humans as the dominant species on our planet – but only seeing the film will give us the answers for sure! Episode Preview (Video + Pics): ‘Doctor Who: World Enough And Time’

This weekend brings about the beginning of the two-part season finale of ‘Doctor Who,’ entitled ‘World Enough and Time.’ This seems to be the build-up to the long-teased Missy/Master/Vault storyline that’s permeated the season since Episode 1. What are we in for? Here’s the official episode description from the BBC: Friendship drives the Doctor into the rashest decision of his life. Trapped on a giant spaceship, caught in the event horizon of a black hole, he witnesses the death of someone he is pledged to protect. Is there any way he can redeem his mistake? Are events already out of control? For once, time is the Time Lord’s enemy… Written by outgoing showrunner Steven Moffat and directed by DW veteran Rachel Talalay, the episode heralds the “beginning of the end” for current Doctor portrayer Peter Capaldi. To help hold you over until the episode premieres this weekend, we’ve got a slew of images from the upcoming installment, plus a short clip from the episode along with the various “Next Time On…” videos. ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ returns for a third season, after a strong second season saved the shows from dubious fans and critics who weren’t sure if the show could live in the shadow of its “big brother,” ‘The Walking Dead,’ effectively. Tackling the unseen elements of the first days of the zombie outbreak (remember, in ‘The Walking Dead,’ Rick is in a coma during the initial crisis, so viewers only get to see snippets of this time via flashbacks), the show seems to have found an identity and direction that pleases its audience. A fourth season has already been guaranteed by AMC, so this season won’t be the end of the story – although, in a tale about the walking dead, it’s likely to be the end of the road for at least some of our main characters. Lots of sci-fi movie fans are, in a word, excited about this summer’s impending release of ‘Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.’ Based on the series of French graphic comics novels first published in 1967 under the title ‘Valerian and Laureline,’ director Luc Besson has long wanted to bring the property to the big-screen. Besson, of course, is no stranger to lavish-looking sci-fi film experiences. Having helmed last year’s ‘Lucy‘ and 1997’s ground-breaking and much-adored visual feast ‘The Fifth Element,’ anticipation is understandably high for Besson to deliver the goods. The final trailer for the film has officially landed, and it is, as one would expect, an eyeful. We’re just a few weeks away from the hotly-anticipated premiere of DC’s newest entry into their Extended Universe film series, ‘Wonder Woman.’ While full reviews are embargoed until June 1, the unofficial initial reactions from advance screenings so far have been mostly positive, something that must make the powers-that-be at DC extremely happy. With the film coming soon, the hype train has definitely left the station and is moving full speed ahead. To that end, we’ve got not one, not two, but NINE new videos to share with you today. Film outtakes are a glorious thing. They can show favorite or well-known characters in odd scenarios: sometimes we see situations and scenes we’ve never seen before, other times we see alternate takes on well-known script lines – and sometimes we just plain see the actors flub their lines, often to hilarious, frustrating, or hilariously frustrating effect. The world of ‘Star Wars’ is certainly no different in this entertainment-related regard; throughout over 40 years of seeing the franchise in films and television, plenty of lines have been missed, misread, and misfired. Through the beauty of home video, fans have been able to witness many of these “axed takes,” but every so often, the powers-that-be behind the franchise will pull out some never-before-seen footage and surprise us. Such was the case at this past weekend’s Star Wars Celebration convention, where John Knoll, Chief Creative Officer of Industrial Light & Magic, hosted a panel and presented the audience with a few old-school goodies. Fans of AMC’s hit zombie-apocalypse show ‘The Walking Dead’ are eagerly anticipating the show’s return to the airwaves after a doozy of a cliffhanger left audiences in suspense all summer long. As you may recall, nefarious villain Negan had a good chunk of the Alexandria group bound and on their knees, as he stood over them menacingly with “Lucille,” his barbed-wire bat. The final shot of the season 6 finale was a first-person-view of Negan killing someone with his bat as the screen fades to black… The trailers we’ve received so far for the upcoming season obviously can’t and won’t give anything away in terms of who might have gone to the great Terminus in the sky – or even what’s happening with other members of the group, as that would show the fate of one or more characters who didn’t die – but it can give us some insight on the other characters that weren’t captured by Negan, as well as some of the other situations that our survivors will encounter in the coming season.
