We’ve got exciting news for fans of the original ‘Jurassic Park‘ movie! It has just been revealed that Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum will all be reprising their roles in the still-untitled ‘Jurassic World 3!’
I’m sure each of us is thrilled that Colin Trevorrow was able to help tempt them back and join Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard for the third ‘Jurassic World’ movie. As to what the film will bring, it is still unclear if this will be a trilogy or if Universal Pictures wants to have the franchise continue on at its current pace.

Dern confirmed that the three would be returning during a fan screening of ‘Battle at Big Rock.’ This will be the first time that Dern and Neill have returned to the franchise as Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Alan Grant respectively since the 2001 release of ‘Jurassic Park III.’

While we don’t know precisely how they’ll be involved in the film, the director did share that they would “all have sizable roles in the sequel.”
Trevorrow is directing ‘Jurassic World 3’ based on a script he co-wrote with Emily Carmichael (‘Pacific Rim Uprising’). As the short film has indicated, we’ll see what it means for humanity now that they have been unleashed upon the world.
While we wait for the third ‘Jurassic World’ film to be released, we at least have the animated ‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous‘ and ‘Lego Jurassic World: Legend Of Isla Nublar‘ to look forward to!
