From the descriptions to the teaser trailers to the full-blown trailer we’ve been given today, it has felt like the inevitable conclusion to this saga is upon us.  After 5 films of keeping the genetically-recreated dinos (mostly) confined to an island or two, it’s clear that time may very well be up for humans as the dominant species on our planet – but only seeing the film will give us the answers for sure! Check out the new trailer, which is chock-full of excitement and nostalgia from newer and classic franchise characters alike: From the ridiculously in-depth description over at Universal Pictures UK: Genre: Epic Action-Adventure Cast: Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill, DeWanda Wise, Mamoudou Athie, BD Wong, Omar Sy, […]

The movie’s female lead, Bryce Dallas Howard, has opened up to discuss going back to work in the COVID-19 age.  Speaking to SiriusXM’s EW Live, she said: “There has been a lot of communication. They are going above and beyond. We would never be going back to work if we didn’t feel safe. And, you know, we’re taking it one day at a time and I’m very grateful to have a job.  What feels really right about it is that there is this daily conversation, daily communication with all of the actors, all of the key crew members and just us consistently being like, ‘Ok how are we going to do this, […]

According to fan site  Jurassic Outpost, this project is in development at Amblin Television, with both Steven Spielberg and  Colin Trevorrow attached as producers, along with Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank, the co-presidents of Amblin Television. Reportedly, the majority of filming will take place in Vancouver, a popular location for television production thanks to tax breaks.  (Most of the Arrowverse shows film there.)  This was also the location for filming parts of ‘Dominion’, which may have helped set the stage. At the end of ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’, a pack of dinosaurs were let loose on society and reportedly, ‘Dominion’ will focus on the heroes from both the ‘World’ and ‘Park’ franchises attempting to wrangle the beasts that have rampaged across North America. We already got […]

This week ahead of New York Toy Fair 2020 Chronicle Collectibles has pulled back the curtain to reveal their all new ‘Jurassic World: Final Battle Tyrannosaurus Rex’ Statue! First hinted at way back at San Diego Comic Con 2017, this new 1:24 scale statue is being presented as a beautifully crafted display piece for any ‘Jurassic World’ fan. While it looks beautiful on its own, the ‘Jurassic World: Final Battle Tyrannosaurus Rex’ statue also works as the perfect companion piece to the upcoming ‘Jurassic World: Indominous Rex’ Statue that is set to release next month. If you get both they should fit together perfectly to create your own 1:24 scale ‘Jurassic World’ diorama! Much like the previously mentioned ‘Indominous Rex’, the ‘Jurassic World: Final Battle Tyrannosaurus Rex’ Statue is planned to be priced at $799.99, which may sound like a hefty price tag, but it’s a small price to pay for a piece of this quality. This statue isn’t expected to ship until Q2 2021, but is officially available for pre-order today! Check the full release information and images from […]

Hordes of dinosaurs were shown fleeing Lockwood Manor after the botched attempt by Eli Mills (Rafe Spall) to auction them off.  Things picked up in last year’s acclaimed short “Battle at Big Rock” which revealed that the dinos had managed to not only survive, but had spread far and wide across the United States… and that was just the beginning.  So in other words, they’ve taken ‘Dominion’ over the U.S. Colin Trevorrow, who directed ‘Jurassic World’ and “Battle at Big Rock,” is back to helm ‘Dominion’, and he kicked off production by posting this image on Twitter: Day One#JurassicWorld pic.twitter.com/UnQIUFwJ3t — Colin Trevorrow (@colintrevorrow) February 25, 2020 For such an epic finale, Trevorrow […]

It is already exciting to know that the third ‘Jurassic World’ movie is going to feature the return of Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum but now it has been confirmed that there will be baby dinosaurs as well! Director Colin Trevorrow has shared one of the most adorable teasers yet from his upcoming trilogy endcap:  our first look at a baby triceratops. The fact that there are baby dinosaurs in this movie shouldn’t come as a real surprise to anyone. Before the end credits finished for ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,’ we knew that a slew of different dino species was on the loose in North America, and it should come as no surprise that they’d be busy procreating. I mean, the next installment is supposed to deal with the fallout of dinosaurs expanding across the continent, so a few hatchlings should be expected. Especially since one of the key points to the original ‘Jurassic World’ when “life, uh finds a way.” Here is the image Trevorrow shared on Twitter:   Ready. pic.twitter.com/mkTbGYbaGV — Colin Trevorrow (@colintrevorrow) February 17, 2020 If that “ready” comment is accurate, this is our first look at the final screen-ready triceratops which […]

Johnson portrayed Lowery Cruthers, who worked in the control room of the Jurassic World theme park, and he remained at his station even after the island was mostly evacuated.  He was there to help Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) when she needed help releasing the T-Rex to take on the Indominus Rex. Sy played Barry Sembene, a Velociraptor trainer who worked closely with Owen Grady (Chris Pratt).  He was almost killed by Blue, but managed to escape Isla Nublar alive. It isn’t known how either character fits into ‘Jurassic World III’, but very little has been announced regarding that picture.  It hales from Universal and Amblin Entertainment, and Colin Trevorrow, who directed the first ‘Jurassic World’, will be back to helm this sequel.  Trevorrow worked on the screenplay with Emily Carmichael and Derek Connolly.  Connolly […]

It has just been revealed that Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum will all be reprising their roles in the still-untitled ‘Jurassic World 3!’ I’m sure each of us is thrilled that Colin Trevorrow was able to help tempt them back and join Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard for the third ‘Jurassic World’ movie. As to what the film will bring, it is still unclear if this will be a trilogy or if Universal Pictures wants to have the franchise continue on at its current pace.   RELATED:  There Won’t Be Dinosaurs Rampaging Through Cities In ‘Jurassic World 3’   Dern confirmed that the three would be returning during a fan screening of ‘Battle at Big Rock.’ This will be the first time that Dern and Neill have returned to the franchise as Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Alan Grant respectively since the 2001 release of ‘Jurassic Park III.’   For those that don’t know, this was a HUGE surprise tonight at @ArcLightCinemas during @Collider‘s #JurassicWorld event. A fan asked @colintrevorrow if any of the original cast was coming back in JW3 and he was like […]

This secret film was released over the weekend on FX. Now, the short can be found online and is going to have you extremely excited for the third film in the franchise. The story takes place between ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ and the still-untitled ‘Jurassic World 3.’ At the end of the last film, the dinosaurs had escaped into the wild and now we’re going to be witnessing the repercussions to that happening. The short 8-minute film stars André Holland, Natalie Martinez, Melody Hurd, and Pierson Salvador. Trevorrow directed the feature and co-wrote it with Emily Carmichael. The studio is describing the short film as below: BATTLE AT BIG ROCK is an all-new short film directed by Colin Trevorrow, written by Trevorrow and Emily Carmichael. I’m sure it partially helps that it didn’t feature any of the actors from the actual ‘Jurassic World’ films so far. The eight-minute short is dropping this Sunday on FX, and we have a few fun new details about it to share with you. Now, you might be curious as to how they were able to film anything related to ‘Jurassic World’ without the media and fans finding out too far ahead of time. We were too! Thankfully Trevorrow shared: “We shot it in Ireland last winter. They have a grove of redwood trees outside Dublin that look exactly like the national parks in Northern California. I honestly never thought we’d make it this far without getting found out. The Irish can keep a secret.” As to how tight they were timewise on putting it together, the director let on that there were no extra scenes shot because: “It was very carefully planned. We did it in 5 days with a small crew. We had two […]

While we know the short film is being released on FX this weekend, we don’t know much past that! With a short runtime you can’t give out too many details without spoiling what we’ll be seeing, but director Colin Trevorrow was able to give a few hints as to the plot, how long it is, and when it takes place. While we don’t get any plot details for the film, Trevorrow was able to share when it takes place and what the mindset of the world’s populace is: “Battle At Big Rock is a short film that takes place one year after the events of Fallen Kingdom. It’s about a family on a camping trip to Big Rock National Park, about 20 miles from where the last film ended. There have been a few sightings, but this is the first major confrontation between dinosaurs and humans.”    “It felt like a first step into a larger world after the last film.
