Feast on the New ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ Trailer After having to briefly pause shooting for two weeks in October 2021 due to a mild COVID outbreak on set, ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ is ready to be released upon the world, drawing what many hope will be a fitting conclusion to the ‘Jurassic World’ trilogy of films and likely, if the marketing is to be believed, putting a cap on the “Jurassic Era” of films altogether. From the descriptions to the teaser trailers to the full-blown trailer we’ve been given today, it has felt like the inevitable conclusion to this saga is upon us. After 5 films of keeping the genetically-recreated dinos (mostly) confined to an island or two, it’s clear that time may very well be up for humans as the dominant species on our planet – but only seeing the film will give us the answers for sure! Bryce Dallas Howard Discusses Safety Measures As ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ Prepares To Resume Production

‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ is expected to be the first big-budget studio flick to resume production following shutdowns caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Even though that situation has not been cured, many industries are valiantly pushing forward in hopes of restoring some normalcy to the world. It is expected that production on ‘Dominion’ will resume in early July in England, with steps being taken right now to ensure the utmost safety for the cast and crew. Reportedly, Universal is spending an additional $5 million just on these safety measures. The movie’s female lead, Bryce Dallas Howard, has opened up to discuss going back to work in the COVID-19 age. Speaking to SiriusXM’s EW Live, she said: “There has been a lot of communication. They are going above and beyond. We would never be going back to work if we didn’t feel safe. And, you know, we’re taking it one day at a time and I’m very grateful to have a job. RUMOR MILL: Take this information with a grain of salt, as for now, it is only a RUMOR. ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ wraps up the current trilogy of movies, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that this will be fans’ last visit to this reality. Word has surfaced that a ‘Jurassic World’ TV series may be in the works for the upcoming Peacock streaming service. This show would be set in the same universe as the films. According to fan site Jurassic Outpost, this project is in development at Amblin Television, with both Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow attached as producers, along with Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank, the co-presidents of Amblin Television. Reportedly, the majority of filming will take place in Vancouver, a popular location for television production thanks to tax breaks. (Most of the Arrowverse shows film there.) This was also the location for filming parts of ‘Dominion’, which may have helped set the stage. The third ‘Jurassic World’ has begun filming and with that, the full name has finally been released: ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’. That title is quite fitting as this will serve as not only the finale of the ‘Jurassic World’ saga but the whole gosh-darn ‘Jurassic Park’ megillah that kicked off in 1993 with Steven Spielberg’s classic first entry. And, as set up in 2018’s ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’, the stakes have risen to levels unseen until now… but one that fans have been clamoring for since Day One. Hordes of dinosaurs were shown fleeing Lockwood Manor after the botched attempt by Eli Mills (Rafe Spall) to auction them off. Things picked up in last year’s acclaimed short “Battle at Big Rock” which revealed that the dinos had managed to not only survive, but had spread far and wide across the United States… and that was just the beginning. Holy Cuteness! It is already exciting to know that the third ‘Jurassic World’ movie is going to feature the return of Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum but now it has been confirmed that there will be baby dinosaurs as well! Director Colin Trevorrow has shared one of the most adorable teasers yet from his upcoming trilogy endcap: our first look at a baby triceratops. The fact that there are baby dinosaurs in this movie shouldn’t come as a real surprise to anyone. Before the end credits finished for ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,’ we knew that a slew of different dino species was on the loose in North America, and it should come as no surprise that they’d be busy procreating. I mean, the next installment is supposed to deal with the fallout of dinosaurs expanding across the continent, so a few hatchlings should be expected. Jake Johnson And Omar Sy Are Returning For ‘Jurassic World III’

While fans are thrilled that OG Jurassic stars Laura Dern (who just won her first Academy Award for ‘Little Women’), Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neill are returning for the final (?) ‘Jurassic World’ movie, two newer supporting players, Jake Johnson and Omar Sy have also signed on to appear. Both appeared in 2015’s ‘Jurassic World’, but not in the sequel ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ (2018). Johnson portrayed Lowery Cruthers, who worked in the control room of the Jurassic World theme park, and he remained at his station even after the island was mostly evacuated. He was there to help Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) when she needed help releasing the T-Rex to take on the Indominus Rex. Sy played Barry Sembene, a Velociraptor trainer who worked closely with Owen Grady (Chris Pratt). He was almost killed by Blue, but managed to escape Isla Nublar alive. It isn’t known how either character fits into ‘Jurassic World III’, but very little has been announced regarding that picture. It hales from Universal and Amblin Entertainment, and Colin Trevorrow, who directed the first ‘Jurassic World’, will be back to helm this sequel. We’ve got exciting news for fans of the original ‘Jurassic Park‘ movie! It has just been revealed that Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum will all be reprising their roles in the still-untitled ‘Jurassic World 3!’ I’m sure each of us is thrilled that Colin Trevorrow was able to help tempt them back and join Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard for the third ‘Jurassic World’ movie. As to what the film will bring, it is still unclear if this will be a trilogy or if Universal Pictures wants to have the franchise continue on at its current pace. Last week, Colin Trevorrow stunned ‘Jurassic World’ fans with the revelation that they had shot a new short film titled ‘Battle at Big Rock’ in secret. This secret film was released over the weekend on FX. Now, the short can be found online and is going to have you extremely excited for the third film in the franchise. The story takes place between ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ and the still-untitled ‘Jurassic World 3.’ At the end of the last film, the dinosaurs had escaped into the wild and now we’re going to be witnessing the repercussions to that happening. The short 8-minute film stars André Holland, Natalie Martinez, Melody Hurd, and Pierson Salvador. Trevorrow directed the feature and co-wrote it with Emily Carmichael. Colin Trevorrow Opens Up To How ‘Battle At Big Rock’ Was Filmed Without Anyone Noticing

While we had no idea how Colin Trevorrow was able to film ‘Battle at Big Rock‘ without anyone noticing, the director is now opening up with that fun little detail and a bit more! I’m sure it partially helps that it didn’t feature any of the actors from the actual ‘Jurassic World’ films so far. The eight-minute short is dropping this Sunday on FX, and we have a few fun new details about it to share with you. Now, you might be curious as to how they were able to film anything related to ‘Jurassic World’ without the media and fans finding out too far ahead of time. We were too! Thankfully Trevorrow shared: “We shot it in Ireland last winter. They have a grove of redwood trees outside Dublin that look exactly like the national parks in Northern California. I honestly never thought we’d make it this far without getting found out. Netflix’s upcoming ‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous’ is still mostly shrouded in mystery but it sounds like they aren’t limiting it to a single season. As DreamWorks Animation has had a successful run of ongoing animated shows on the streaming service that should come as no surprise but we’re thrilled that director Colin Trevorrow was able to let us know that if the series is well received that there will be future seasons put into development. Trevorrow confirmed this detail when talking about this weekend’s upcoming surprise short set in the ‘Jurassic World’ universe called ‘Battle at Big Rock‘ which is set to be released on FX. The short ‘Jurassic World’ film ‘Battle at Big Rock’ announcement seemed to come out of nowhere. While we know the short film is being released on FX this weekend, we don’t know much past that! With a short runtime you can’t give out too many details without spoiling what we’ll be seeing, but director Colin Trevorrow was able to give a few hints as to the plot, how long it is, and when it takes place. While we don’t get any plot details for the film, Trevorrow was able to share when it takes place and what the mindset of the world’s populace is: “Battle At Big Rock is a short film that takes place one year after the events of Fallen Kingdom. It’s about a family on a camping trip to Big Rock National Park, about 20 miles from where the last film ended. The third ‘Jurassic World’ film has not begun filming, but if you are jonesing for more dino-action, Colin Trevorrow has announced the release of ‘Battle at Big Rock’, a ‘Jurassic World’ short film that will be released on FX on September 15, which is this coming Sunday. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that any of the movie cast will be present in the short film. Emily Carmichael (‘Pacific Rim: Uprising’) penned the script. She will also co-author the screenplay for ‘Jurassic World III’. Larry Fong (‘Kong: Skull Island’) handled cinematography, and Ami Doherty (‘Legion’) composed the score. If you love the Lego shows and ‘Jurassic World‘ you don’t want to miss this trailer for Nickelodeon’s ‘Lego Jurassic World: Legend of Isla Nublar.’ Set as an unofficial prequel to the 2015 hit ‘Jurassic World,’ this 13-part animated series will introduce us to the major characters from the story. Fans in Canada are getting a leg up on the show which has already been airing on the Family Channel up north. No word as to the European release at this time.
