Feast on the New ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ Trailer After having to briefly pause shooting for two weeks in October 2021 due to a mild COVID outbreak on set, ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ is ready to be released upon the world, drawing what many hope will be a fitting conclusion to the ‘Jurassic World’ trilogy of films and likely, if the marketing is to be believed, putting a cap on the “Jurassic Era” of films altogether. From the descriptions to the teaser trailers to the full-blown trailer we’ve been given today, it has felt like the inevitable conclusion to this saga is upon us. After 5 films of keeping the genetically-recreated dinos (mostly) confined to an island or two, it’s clear that time may very well be up for humans as the dominant species on our planet – but only seeing the film will give us the answers for sure! ‘Dominion’ has been popular for a long time, and with good reason: it’s a resource-heavy deckbuilder, but the main twist is that the resources you use can be varied from game to game – think if you could play ‘Monopoly’ with different street spaces and special areas every game. This can be done with the basic game only, not requiring any expansions – although those do exist, too, for even greater variation and replayability. The basic setup can seem a little daunting at first, but really is fairly easy. You have to begin by creating the Kingdom, a fairly elaborate “trade row” of cards that all players will be able to purchase from to build their decks as the game progresses. There are certain cards that you’ll include in every game you play: three different types of Treasure cards (Copper, Silver, and Gold each give 1, 2, or 3 points worth of buying power, respectively), three different types of Victory cards (Estates, Duchies, and Provinces each give 1, 3, or 6 end-game victory points respectively), and Curse cards (which take away end-game Victory points). Every fall, fans look forward to the new shows debuting on each network, but fans also find themselves crossing their fingers in hopes that their favorite already established shows will return for more exploits. Fans should be fairly happy as a lot of “on the bubble” genre shows have been renewed, despite sometimes shaky ratings. Their further future lies in viewers hands. (That means YOU!) Here is a list of the sci-fi, fantasy, horror, comic book, etc. shows that are confirmed to be returning this fall, as well as those that definitely won’t and one that is still on the bubble. Renewed: Everything – The CW: In an unusual move, The CW renewed all of its existing shows: ‘The 100’, ‘Arrow‘, ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’, ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’, ‘The Flash‘, ‘iZombie’, ‘Jane the Virgin’, ‘The Originals’, ‘Reign’, ‘Supernatural‘ and ‘The Vampire Diaries’. Anthony Head Discusses A Giles Standalone Movie

This is an exciting tidbit for the Scoobies out there. ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ actor Anthony Head recently indicated in an interview that he is “still game” for a spin-off that would feature his character, Giles. Back in 2001, Joss Whedon tossed around the idea of a drama focusing on Giles called ‘Ripper’. “It’s more about what happens to Giles when he’s cut adrift from Buffy and the rest of them,” Head explained. “It’s a beautiful, beautiful ghost story, and it’s extremely haunting, as you would expect of Joss.” ‘Ripper’ was actually in development at the BBC to possibly be a standalone TV movie. However, as is life, things got in the way, namely for Whedon in the form of a small movie known as ‘The Avengers.’ However, Head would totally be down to reprise his role as Giles if there was an opportunity. “I would do it,” Head stated. “I would do anything to work with Joss again. Syfy Releases Trailer And Photos For ‘Dominion’

Honestly for a show that is debuting on Syfy on June 19th I would have expected ‘Dominion’ to have released quite a bit more material to get us interested before now. Still with under a month away we just got a huge batch of images showing off the new series as well as an official trailer. Thankfully this trailer shows a little bit of what we can unexpect unlike the early teaser that gave no details at all. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the film ‘Legion’ which this series is based off. While the movie itself didn’t do anything for me it did have a solid concept and I hope that the series can take the ideas that it gave and make a show that is fun to watch. Teaser For Season 1 Of ‘Dominion’

While I wasn’t the biggest fan of the film ‘Legion’, the fine folks at Syfy were and decided to turn it into a television series called ‘Dominion’ and we have the first teaser for you here. I really enjoyed the concept of the film itself and where they were going with it and do hope Syfy does a better job with the show itself. Part of my pessimism here might be that I have a love and hate relationship with Syfy. They put out so many good shows but are also partially responsible for things like ‘Sharknado‘. With how much I loved the introduction to their most recent series, ‘Bitten’, I’ll of course, have to give them the benefit of the doubt. It helps that the names of the cast that are recognizable have all done well in the past. The film was written and directed by Scott Stewart (‘Legion’, ‘Priest’) who’s on board to direct the first episode and will be an executive producer with Michel Litvak and David Lancaster.
