I really think that this version of Wonder Woman could have worked if it wasn’t for the stupid story background choices that were made (making her identity known to the world and the confusing Diana Prince/Diana Themyscira personas). Adrianne Palicki could have been directed to be more genuinely concerned as Diana and less eye-rollingly adolescent and angry … she has some good moments otherwise (in the pilot). Shame.

In reply to Mesmer7. do you have a link? I tried searching for it a while back but i couldn't see it anywhere. I quite liked her on Shield, but The Orville, not so much. Seems like she is phoning it in like the rest of the cast.

I saw Adrianne Palicki’s version of Wonder Woman. Someone posted it on youtube shortly after the network announced that they weren’t going to air it. Palicki’s performance was okay, but uninspired and uninteresting. But the real blame goes to the producer, David Kelly. He made Diana Prince a corporate CEO, and made her subject to racial prejudice because she “wasn’t human”. Both were dumb moves. Kelly clearly had no idea understanding of the character or the genre.
