Ok, Many of us has created an excessive large expectation about the movie, and it’s not Titanic neither Avatar (they were overrated in my opinion). It’s a very good SW film and not one dam minute boring or dull, so I disagree with the initial argumentation. Some 10 to 15 minutes of the final cut could have been “left on the floor of the editor room”, but I remember very well all my feelings in watching each movie of the saga. This one is not definitely dull compared to the others.

I enjoyed the movie. My big criticism is that making Star Destroyers into mini Death Stars weakens the impact of the original Death Stars in Episodes IV and VI. I think for narrative purposes, having the big Star Destroyer guns being city killers rather than planet killers would have achieved the same impact. Also, this “technology” poses future narrative problems if any faction that has the plans and resources need only make a Star Destroyer rather than a Death Star in order to threaten galactic Armageddon.
