I thought the story was excessively convoluted. How could someone misinterpret a ‘prophacy’ of something that happened 500 years earlier? That was ridiculous. Reeves and Winter might have been able to pull off ‘lovable dunces’ when they were in their twenties. But both men are in their 50s now, and it’s impossible to believe they haven’t matured at all in 30 years. The only performances that were even close to interesting Brigette Lundy-Paine and Anthony Carrigan. The rest were entirely forgettable.
