After a brief little light show, the humans in ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters‘ end up being “very intimidated” but lets be honest, if you were staring down any of the Kaiju out there in real life you likely would be as well. We’re just over 2 months away from the release of the third film in the “MonsterVerse,” and each teaser seems to be ramping up the action. That being said, it also feels like we’ve seen moments from every significant scene in the movie at this point and you have to hope that they’re being careful with the marketing here.

Previously, director Michael Dougherty stated that “the world is reacting to Godzilla in the same way we would react to any other terrifying incident, in that we are overreacting, but there’s paranoia and endless speculation about whether he is the only one out there or whether we’re threatened by others like his kind.” The first movie showed us that there are more of his kind out there and now we’ll be seeing some of them emerge from the shadows.
Following the global success of “Godzilla” and “Kong: Skull Island” comes the next chapter in Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ cinematic MonsterVerse, an epic action-adventure that pits Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history. The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
‘Godzilla: King Of The Monsters’ will be roaring into theaters on May 31st, 2019!
