Welcome back yet again for a jam packed all new Toy News Tuesday! We’re the one weekly column right here on ScienceFiction.com where we seek out all of the awesome news you need to know about any announcements and cool happenings in the toy industry and put them all in one easy to find place for you! This week we’ve got lots of new items being solicited for the first time from some of our favorite companies like Diamond Select Toys and DC Collectibles, plus we’ve got some great new reveals from Funko, Hot Toys, Kotobukiya, and even a surprise from McFarlane and Skybound! Celebrating A Galaxy Far Far Away
This year’s Star Wars Celebration is coming up in just a few weeks! From April 13-16 ‘Star Wars’ fans will gather in Orlando Florida for the annual celebration of everything ‘Star Wars’; and this year it’s especially important because it marks the 40th Anniversary of the beloved science fiction franchise! As always, Funko is on top of releasing several super awesome exclusives for the convention, and we’ve got the first wave rundown available for you here! So far exclusives for Star Wars Celebration 2017 include Garindan, Han Solo, Qui Gon Jin (Jedi Ghost), and Chopper Funko POP! Vinyls, a new Rey with Speeder POP! Rides set, and a Prototype armor Boba Fett Wacky Wobbler! These are all set to be available exclusively at Star Wars Celebration 2017, although it is likely several of these will end up as shared exclusives at specialty retailers.

With the momentum it’s been gaining over the last two years, there looks to be no stopping Funko’s Dorbz line! This is yet another line of highly stylized vinyl figures that shows no signs of slowing down, and this week we’ve got a few newly announced pieces you’re going to want to add to your collection!
