Stan Lee may have left us this year but we’re still getting plenty of cameos by the Marvel Icon and if you’re checking out ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet‘ this week you’ll be in for a treat. Stan “The Man” Lee has an animated cameo in the film and if you’re wondering where the Master of Cameos shows up, here’s where you can keep an eye out for him.
We’ve known from the previews that Vanellope is going to make her way to OhMyDisney.com and meet all of the Disney Princesses. It’s while passing through this area, you’ll get a chance to see Stan Lee. Vanellope is walking behind the scenes of a show and bumps into someone. The man turns to face the camera, and we’ll give you one guess as to who it is! This marks the second of three animated appearances by Stan this year as he also appeared in DC’s ‘Teen Titans GO! to the Movies‘ and has a cameo in ‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse.’
Being able to get this cameo and the other Marvel Easter Eggs into the film was surprisingly evil as according to producer Clark Spencer:
“Yeah the guys at Marvel, I think we did the same thing in the first film where as long as we went to people and said ‘This is what the intent is and here’s how it sits in the body of the film we want to work with you, so you’re getting to look at every aspect of what we’re going to be doing. You can see the pages and animation coming through so we’re being true to your character because you created them.’ Then people are all willing to come in and do them, they would, of course as you’re developing it they might say ‘Well a little bit more in this direction or that direction.’ In terms of whatever a character might say or be doing. Or the way they would act in terms of choices they make in terms of voice recording that you’re using for them.”
I’m glad they were sold on the idea.
