In a move that might just cost the artist his chances on ever working on another super-hero film again, 3D Artist Sean Ray, who works at ‘Moving Picture Company’ which is responsible for a good chunk of the visual effects that will appear in Warner Bros’ upcoming ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice,’ recently took to social media to celebrate the completion of his company’s work on the film. He initially wrote:
“Batman v Superman is wrapped, one the best films i have worked on! My inner child is happy! I’m the biggest superman fan ever! So it was a dream to work on it! Looking forward to seeing it on the big screen in March! I can’t wait !! Good job everyone who worked on it.”
I’ll admit, it seems innocent enough, but what comes next apparently is what got him into trouble. After explaining in the comments section that he’s a 3D character/Creature Artist, he was asked a question about Doomsday: “…Nice! So did you create the model for Doomsday??” And unfortunately for Rey, in his excitement over being done with the film, he hastily replied:
“Hahaha lol unfortunately he’s not in the film, maybe in the man of steel squel or justice league film who knows.”
And that most likely is the issue, as workers on film like this most definitely have a non-disclosure agreement, which might explain why shortly after this Ray deleted both the initial post and then his entire Instagram account. Too little too late my friend, you leaked information onto the internet, and there’s no getting it back. The fact that the account was deleted also helps confirm the information involved, though you never know, the whole thing might be a mislead by the studio (although I think that is highly unlikely).
