From Eric Kripke, Shawn Ryan and the producers of “The Blacklist” comes this thrilling action-adventure series in which a mysterious criminal steals a secret state-of-the-art time machine, intent on destroying America as we know it by changing the past. NBC has a new time travel adventure series set to hit the airwaves this fall, called ‘Timeless’ about a specially selected group chosen to travel through time to stop a mysterious villain who is attempting to rewrite history. The show stars Abigail Spencer as Lucy Preston, Matt Lanter as Wyatt Logan, Paterson Joseph as Mason Lark, Matt Frewer as Anthony Bruhl, Goran Visnjic as Garcia Flynn and Malcolm Barrett as Rufus.
Neill Marshall directed the pilot episode and co-executive produces the show with Kripke and Ryan.

Kripke is best known for creating ‘Supernatural’ while Ryan crafted ‘The Shield’.
Oddly enough, ‘Timeless’ is one of three new time travel shows debuting this fall. ABC will premier ‘Time After Time’ based on the fictitious adventures of a young H.G. Wells, while FOX will air ‘Making History’. ‘Making History’, unlike the other two, is a comedy starring Leighton Meester and Adam Pally.
Of course, all of these shows join The CW’s already running comic book-based ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ but at this point, it’s not certain if that show will retain its time-travel storyline or if it will be rebooted. (It was originally only supposed to be a miniseries.)
