For those of you who are as excited about ABC and Marvel’s ‘Agent Carter‘ as we are, we have a slew of new images from the first episode to share with you! Clearly many of you have agreed with me that Hayley Atwell’s take on Peggy Carter from ‘Captain America: The First Avenger‘ was such a hit that we needed a return to her character that amounted to more than cameos or One-Shots. With Captain America out of the picture in the 40s, it is going to take a strong team to keep the world at peace once World War 2 was won and this brings us the introduction of the SSR. For those of you that are behind the times, the SSR is the institution that will one day grow to become S.H.I.E.L.D. and Carter is one of the lead agents that is in on the ground floor.
From items, artifacts, and certain characters, I would expect a few random crossovers between the show and Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ in random ways as time goes on.
Ready for some image overload? Let’s take our first real look at what we’ll be seeing in the 2 hour premiere from the series.
We aren’t seeing much of the actual action or full range of characters here but there is clearly enough to give us an idea of what the sets and look of the show are going to feel like.

Years before Agent Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. team swore to protect those who cannot protect themselves from threats they cannot conceive, there was Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell, Marvel’s “Captain America: The First Avenger,” Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”), who pledged the same oath but lived in a different time when women weren’t recognized as being as smart or as tough as their male counterparts. But no one should ever underestimate Peggy.
